Terms and conditions of use of the CHORA MILANO website and services

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the relationship between the user and GEDIV S.R.L., with registered office at via Vincenzo di Marco 14, 90143 Palermo, Italy, VAT no. 07083020821 (“GEDIV” or the “Operator”), owner of the CHORA MILANO project. The Terms govern the use of the website choramilano.com (the “Site”) and the services offered through the Site.

The Site is supplemented by the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, which form an integral part of it. By using the Site, the user declares that they have read and accepted these Terms.

1. Our activity

CHORA MILANO offers furnished apartments for medium-term rental in Milan, presented and bookable through the Site. The Site allows the user to view the available apartments and submit a booking request.

2. Intellectual property

All content on the Site (text, images, graphics, logos, layout and any other element) is owned by GEDIV or its licensors and is protected by copyright and industrial property law. It is prohibited to reproduce, copy, modify, distribute or otherwise use such content without GEDIV's prior written consent.

The “CHORA MILANO” trademark and the other distinctive signs on the Site may not be used without the written authorisation of the owner.

3. Requirements for use

To use the Site and submit a booking request, the user must:

  • be of legal age (18 years or older);
  • provide truthful, complete and up-to-date data, promptly notifying any changes;
  • not use the Site through automated systems (“bots”) or under the identity of others.

4. Acceptable use of the Site

The user undertakes to use the Site for lawful purposes and in compliance with the law, without compromising its operation or security, and without infringing the rights of third parties.

5. Links to third-party sites

The Site may contain links to third-party sites, provided solely for the user's convenience. Such sites are not under GEDIV's control, and GEDIV is not responsible for their content. The user accesses them at their own risk.

6. Booking and stay

The apartments are offered for medium-term rental, with a minimum duration of 3 months. A request submitted through the Site does not constitute a confirmed booking: GEDIV will contact the user to complete the procedure, request the necessary documentation and carry out the verification.

The rental relationship and the financial terms of the stay (rent, security deposit, charges, cancellation policy, house rules) are governed by the rental contract and the Booking and Stay Conditions, separate documents that the user accepts at the time of booking.

7. Limitation of liability

GEDIV is liable under the law in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence. For the negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, GEDIV's liability is limited to the foreseeable damages typical of the contract. Mandatory legal liabilities remain unaffected, including those for harm to life, physical integrity and health.

The content of the Site relating to the apartments is provided for guidance only; availability, prices and features may change.

8. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, the user undertakes to hold GEDIV harmless from claims, liabilities, damages and expenses arising from the breach of these Terms, improper use of the Site, or the breach of law or third-party rights attributable to the user.

9. Severability

Any invalidity or ineffectiveness of a single clause does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which continue to apply.

10. Changes to the Terms

GEDIV may amend these Terms at any time. Changes are published on the Site with the date of update. Continued use of the Site after the publication of the changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. The Court of Milan has jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to the mandatory jurisdiction of the consumer's place of residence where applicable. Consumers may also access the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
